A Prayer for Renewal

7 Feb

Lord, we are your people, the sheep of your flock.

Heal the sheep who are wounded.

Touch the sheep who are in pain.

Clean the sheep who are soiled.

Warm the lambs who are cold.

Help us to know the Father’s love through Jesus the shepherd, and through the Spirit.

Help us to lift up that love, and show it all over this land.

Help us to build love on justice and justice on love.

Help us to believe mightily, hope joyfully, love divinely.

Renew us that we may help renew the face of the earth.

Amen.

Happy New Year!

18 Jan

Message from Your Parish Nurse: Greetings and Happy New Year! This is my first message to you on this blog. One of my goals for 2012 is to communicate to the parishioners of Most Holy Rosary Church, to make you aware of helpful information, community resources and events that would be helpful to you for your health and well-being.

Here are 10 principles of healthy living to incorporate in your new year:

  1. Breath Deeply
  2. Drink Water
  3. Sleep Peacefully
  4. Eat Nutritiously
  5. Enjoy Activity
  6. Give and Receive Love
  7. Be Forgiving
  8. Practice Gratitude
  9. Develop Acceptance
  10. Develop a Relationship with God
